Van Gogh wins Championat of Zurich

30 January 2017

The approved KWPN stallion Van Gogh (Numero Uno x Bernstein) came into action under the German rider Marco Kutcher last weekend. They showed up in the arena for the second time after their winter stop. They rode an amazing round in the Swiss Zurich.

During the CSI5* Championat of Zurich on 1.50m level, Van Gogh and Marco Kutcher put down two clear rounds. Their competitors could not beat their fast time and Kutscher was victorious with his outstanding stallion. They seem to be in great condition after their winter stop. Van Gogh was sold during the Limburg Foal auction of 2002 and was bred by M.T.S. Stultiëns from Weert.

The combination has already won many Grand Prix’. They became second during the CSI5* Grand prix on 1.60m level in Shanghai last April, first during the CSI5* Grand Prix on 1.60m level in Hong Kong in February last year, first during the CSI5* Grand Prix on 1.60m level in Los Angeles in Oktober 2015 and first during the CSI5* Grand Prix on 1.60m level in Valkenswaard in August 2015.

The combination will come into action in Hong Kong this February. Last year they were able to bring home the gold medal and prize money. We wish them lots of luck this year!
