Ocala Z.G. approved by the KWPN

29 May 2022

Yesterday the Cornet Obolensky son Ocala Z.G. successfully completed the KWPN performance test. The stallion that was sold at the Limburg Foal Auction to his current owners Stal Hendrix and Peter Francken three years ago, is approved with a total of 80 points. A good achievement for the stallion that was bred by the Zegers family from Reek.

In 2019 the Cornet Obolensky son Ocala Z.G. (out of Elanoir ZG van Diamant de Semilly, birth name Corvette ZG Z) was part of the foal collection of the Limburg Foal Auction. There, Paul Hendrix and Peter Francken set their eyes on the genetically interesting colt. Dam Elanoir ZG previously produced the international 1.40m showjumpers Intouchable ZG (s.Modesto) and Michel Hendrix’s Jive ZG (s.Zinedine) and granddam Wodka Lime ZG foaled alreadt the international 1.60m showjumper Fer ZG (s.Nabab de Rêve) and the 1.40/1.45m level competing Infinety ZG (s.I’m Special de Muze) and Cadiz ZG (s.Vancouver).

In the KWPN performance test, the stallion made a good impression with his uncomplicated character, great rideability and balanced canter. He earned high marks for his good technique, scope and overview. For its rideability, Ocala received Z.G. a 9 next to 8’s for canter, technique, scope, attitude and ability as a showjumper. This reference of the Limburg Foal Auction is therefore looking forward to a bright future in sport and breeding. Congratulations to breeders and owners!
