Utoki of the Paddocks selected for KWPN test

2 February 2023

The promising Catoki son Utoki of the Paddocks, who was sold as a foal via the Limburg Foal Auction, made a striking appearance at the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch last week. The charming, talented and genetically valuable stallion of a client of Stal Hendrix has therefore been invited for the performance stallion test.

Under the watchful eye of his breeder Anthony Mornie, Utoki of the Paddocks (Catoki x Corofino I) earned the invitation for the KWPN performance test. He was bred out of the half-sister of the Olympic top sire Clinton ridden by Dirk Demeersman and is related on his dam’s side to a large number of international showjumping horses. For example, Utoki of the Paddocks has the same granddam as the international Grand Prix showjumper Boris van het Kluizebos (s.Heartbreaker) ridden by Olivier Philippaerts.

Just like in the first round viewing, the pretty Utoki of the Paddocks made an impression with his good canter, take-off, use of the body and fast reflexes. The athletic grey stallion was sold at the Limburg Foal Auction in 2020 to Mr. Nelson, a client of Stal Hendrix where he has been successfully prepared for the stallion approvals. Congrats to all!
